1. MTOR
2. MentalRay

and what are their different?

I think you mean Renderman instead of MTOR. They all have thier strengths and weaknesses. Entropy is comparable to Renderman, and Mental Ray is nice too. But none of them support Maya's paint FX or particles, I don't think. And Renderman just recently got RayTracing and GI. In my opinion, Entropy and Renderman are the better renderers...

Mental Ray also gives great results without getting into shader programming and such.

I seem to like Entropy the best so far for the ease and the detail in the tools, but renderman is faster and in version 11 it is supposed to include raytrace and GI........ So I would say renderman 11 is the better bet. Too bad its so damned expensive! Probably some reviews will surface soon.
As for mental ray well havent seen it. But if the ui integration with maya is as good as it is with max then I would seriously think about getting away from the "unfriendly" mayaman bridge from AL.
