This is an illustration from a story I'm working on called The Missing Link.
The main character, Feyori (the only human in the piece) is being told how he arrived on this world in a vessel that crashed in the nearby jungle. He's been raised by this clan of Oocha'rahn and is finally of the age where he can be told of his strange origins. They just had a little music jam before the stories and some of the primative instruments lay around the circle. A little homage to the Predator series in placing trophy skulls around the room from the frequent hunting and gathering of the tribes people. There are some other illustrations from this story in my portfolio if you're interested.
I use photoshop cs3, a 6X9 wacom tablet.
