View Full Version : Still Life: Stacked Marbles
Flash FROG 04-27-2003, 03:15 AM For a long time I was just using Maya, but then I started using Mray a lot and this is my first finished product that came out. It took me awile to get the lighting just right. I used the HDR image to create a reflected effect.
Tell me how it looks, it might look differently to someone else.
PLEASE.

My only critic is that it looks as if the globes are glued together and not stacked.
It gives me an urge to pull out the blue globe @.@

My computer has been busy for awhile so I haven,t had a chance to reply but i rendered the stacked marbles with a different HDR image. Tell me what you think about it.http://www.angelfire.com/wa/bew56/StackedBalls6.jpg

I wouldnt even render with an HDRI map. Just create some white planes above the balls so they have something to reflect but its your choice. Great marbles
