Hi all I was hoping someone here could help me. I have done UV mapping on non complec objects before and have had no problems UV mapping. I am currently trying to UV map a WH40K dreadnought and because some of the joints are constrained and rigged for animation, I can only apply a UV map to each individual object. I have tried attaching the many parts together per arm, leg etc to create 1 object which I can apply a UV unwrap modifier, but then all the pivot points move to the original object they have been attached to, and the pistons constrains all not point to the original objects pivot point.

Is there any way I can make a single map per arm that would hold all the UV info for the shoulder, upper arms, joints, pistons, power cables, power fist etc, or will I have to simply make a UV map for each object??

Any help please.

Cheers.
