Visual of building in The Netherlands "Live your Loft"

This one i did in Photoshop. The building itself is drawn from scrap. The Trees, peeps (me in a white sweater) and sky are manipulated. I hope you like the style of this artist impression. It's a typical Dutch design .. Tips and critics are welcom.

Greetz,

Jeroen

At first glance, there are some dropped shadow problems. It seems, that the source of light is probably parallel projected light from fore. I say that, cuz' the steel racks drops exactly perpendicular shadows to the facade. But on the attic level, there is another shadow direction - what isn't correct, i think.
Another question is the lightning of this render. I think it's too bright. As i see there's about sunset, which is in the background - so the sunlight comes from there and makes some backlight. Wherefore the sky should be the most bright area in this case, so the buiding should have to be more darker. But there are streetlights, too. They emit some light (as i see, you've tried to show this on the ground near of them), but they aren't the self-same light source what makes that shadow on the facade... - why?? Moreover at sunset time, ppl usually use the interior lightning.
I guess you should think this lightning issues over cuz' now it seems that the whole bldng gets light from some huge frontlight reflector from above(?). And maybe, maybe use more contrast... but im not sure of it...
Sry, if i was spoonfeeder.
I'm wondering if you used 3D modell and lighting reference?
Keep it up Bro!

Well .. I know the light was going to be the problem. Your perfectly right about that .... I first drew it with normal daylight and the sun put at the front of the bulding so that i would get nice shadows from the steel construction as you mentioned. But the peeps wanted a more dramatic visuel,.. so i put in a sunset, with indeed, the sun behind the building. That would have put the front of the building in total shaded and that would be a drama to ... so i left the "frontlights" on ....

Thnx for your comment ! I had no lighting reference ...
