Hi,

is there an easy way to setup my tank (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=543612#post543612)?

I searched the net for 2 days now and i tried lots of expressions, but no way.

I need something that rotates the wheels and moves the treads if i move the tank.

I tried to figure out how this (http://www.c4djug.com/7_0/sample71/s71.html#3) example works, but it's really hard to understand for me. Another try was this (http://mitglied.lycos.de/stefanbutterling3d/problem.html) file, i found it in the thread about sqidinc's buggy. The same here, i can't get it to work correct. Maybe someone can give me a bit help? :hmm:

hmm your link to the file does not work for me but after looking at the file that I had D/Led earlier.

It seems pretty simple just use the conrtols AM window to control the speed and turning radius.

the turning radius is based upon a torus.

the wheels turn and rotate using a rangemapper.

a tank would be more difficlut simply because you have to deal with the difficuly of the treads moving realisticly.

and since treads are quite similar to fabrics its not going to be all tha simple.

well I am not a god with Xpresso but I would use a range mapper instead of just linking straight that might make things a little easier.
