Hi,

this is my first lightwave car that's not done from a tutorial, i haven't started much on the rear of the car, but i think the front is pretty much finished apart from lights and grills ect.

ps. it was made in lw 7.5, and now i've done a render of the rear i've noticed that a couple of places don't line up, these will be sorted out. :)

good work ! what modeling style did you use ? I'm learning LW myself and want to start a car soon...

i used spline patching, this must be the best modeling method i've learnt ever!!!

this is the tutorial i went through to learn spline patching. (invaluable resource!!!)

btw: if you find it hard using biezer splines there's a link somewhere on the last couple of pages in that thread to a short video tutorial on how to use them properly. :thumbsup:

first attempt at the wheels so they will probably need tweaking/memodeling, i havn't put the tread on them yet, not sure wheather just using a bump map would look ok...
