His arms seem a bit too thin... but I think thats in acceptable range.

Thats a very realistic model you have there. Is it you? Only crit i have is the pose (this is soooooo tiny) is to relax the wrists. and they would hang a little more towards his body instead of away from his body and would be twisted a tiny bit so we would see the top on his hand a little more (if your going for a natural pose). Great Job! :D

That has to be one of the greatest human models and texture jobs I've seen in a loong loong time! The only way I think you could improve it is give more detail, better texture and somehow change the lightning on the skin. If I look at it, it's extremely convincing, however the skin is still not 100% realistic. The skin is too perfect and smooth it would seem. That's how I percieve it anyways and I see the ear+side burns differing greatly from each other, too smooth/blurish/realistic/blend... i dunno how to describe it. Perhaps the ear could be less perfect and less smooth all the way around. Otherwise it's really really really good and i like it, it's absolutely amazing :D

Looking very good, the only problematic part is that the skin looks too plastic. Try to add some fake subsurface scattering using falloff maps (shadow/light falloff in the diffuse color channel, mixing between two versions of the skin texture: a desaturated one and a reddish tinted one). Or try out the Brazil skin shader, I've seen Irfan doing some magic with that.

And maybe make the legs and arms hairy :)

Hi.You may wonder what these chinese words are. It's actually LaoDong explaining some techniques to you,and he wants me to translate it into english. So here they are(sorry for my limited english and understanding of 3dsmax):

Modeled with polygon in 3dsmax.I duplicated the model after it was done. Then I detached some parts of the model that would usually cause texture distortion, such as nosewing, eyelids, lips, etc.I shall put them back using "mopher" after the mapping is done.
I applied a cylinder coordinate to the head.I used a plugin call "texpoter" to export the uvmap to photoshop to paint my texture.I didn't use any pictures for my texture. And I am not drawing it with a wacom.I drew it with the mouse.I have good control over my mouse owe to my playing Couter Strike a lot.For the clothes I used a velvet Shader of brazil.
(The following paragraph is not translate well for I don't know much about shag:hair.Sorry you guys have to guess... )For the hair I used shag:hair.I added fur first,to make a bottom. Then I added hair, using spline to control the direction of the hairs, then I do a model-cuter,just cut it neat.
Render with brazil using default skylight.I placed a hair light in front of the character to be the main light and to cast the shadow. There's one more light that was set to highlight only,to get the highlight on the eyeball. That should make the character look fresh.

It's not done yet,I am still working on the backgroud. After I finished I will post it for everybody to see.

LaoDong:
邮箱是dragon_900@21cn.com.qq是21766210.

what's the mean of "like lump under neck"? place on the neck that sticks out, women do not have. very good job. Only thing is eyes look like perfect circle. should be like "0" not "O" where long part points out and pushes eyelids (the skin over eyes).

Great job. The clothes look really good. I think the hair could use a little work.
