Hi everbody
Yesterday i finally start working with the new max 2008
And i start testing the new resources for Mental ray
I take the sample scene of 3dmax6, and start some testings
Here the results

When i got the final result, i texturize the scene,and render again

I agree ... :(

the picture reminds me of the film "The Island"

the couch and the table is rendered and modelled very clean and nice

the material of the table is also irritating for me

Well it's not perfect but I really like it...

about the floor - not that common - but I have seen floors take reflections like that - but the light on the wall is not that common...

- think it's the render!!! - to grainy! -works on the small one though...

really like the sofa.... but somethings wrong with the flowers... - make them more white... whiter then the sofa...

really great entry.... and only mho...

Interesting, however, I'd say this scene is very incomplete.

The materials and the models are nicely done, you just need more stuff in there. It feels really empty.

these materials are similar to vray materials... it doesnt look real at all bc the lights cast too soft shadows never found in real life.
