So here is a new version of my earlier post of a visual effect. This is certainly the last time I will touch this particular project. Certainly I think it could be done better with more time and effort but I unfortunately do not have more time and this is simply a homework assignment that I took beyond what I needed to anyhow! I hope you all enjoy it, any feeback or critisicms are as always welcome and appreciated. Any ideas for what I could do better next time are also excellent, even if you think I probably realize them anyhow. I hope you enjoy this:

I used rotoscoped live action footage as a displacement and bump map for the texture on top of keyframed blend shapes to accomplish this effect.
