Here's one of the first few models I'm making, and the first one I'm UV mapping...

It looks horrible, please point out where I went wrong.

First of all the huge crease going down her head could deffinatly throw off the pic lol. Try smoothing that out and re-postin

I think it's pretty good, but that's because I'm not too hot at modelling just yet, all my friends think I rock, but u know we're all our worst critics.

the face appears to be a little too round, just afew suggestions.
how about naking the cheekbones higher and sharpening the jawline a little.

One other comment.
The lips need some work, the corner of the mouth actually tucks inside. The skin from you lips kinda wraps around to the inside of your mouth.. sorta hard to explain, look at some reference. But I think if you just select a few vertices on each side of the lip and sorta tuck them inside the mouth it will help out a lot, right now she's got fish lips. Also the general top and bottom shape of the lips should be tweaked some, the bottom lip is pretty fat and the top lip almost mirros that, if you look at some photos you'll see that the top and bottom lip are quite different in shape.
Keep on going!

We can see a little bit more eyeball than normally, try to make the eyeball orbit less wide and sharper in the corner !!

Unless, change the lights, there is too much brightness

you should definitely think about removing the seem from the centre of the head I think this will improve the overall look paramount. Good work keep tweaking but know when to stop. Good luck

I assume you've been using a front/side pic as reference? Because the front and side renders look quite good, it's more in the 3/4 views that it looks wrong.
The lips look much better now but you need to try to imagine the skull under the skin. The cheeks and cheekbones need to be taken out a bit more as well as the eyebrows. You also need to rework the eyes to look less staring. The upper eyelids need to cross the iris and touch or almost touch the pupil for a more relaxed expression.
The eyebrows run too far to the sides.
The wrinkles on the lower lip shouldnt run all the way down. They smooth out at the apex of the lip, not where it meets the chin. The same goes for the coloring. If the red flows outside of the lip apex (upper and lower lip) it looks like bad lipstick.
The nose looks quite good. You could maybe make the "gap" between the nose near the nostril and the cheeks less wide. I'm talking about the area where a crease usually forms when you smile. This would bring the cheeks out a bit
