Hi all, I'm new here and I'm sure I found a very good CGcommunity..
I got a problem with a texture..
I have made a wall full of tile and I have to point the attention on the tile's texture. The material I made has this settings:
standard/multi-layer map, the filtering is summed area.. I got the upladed image in the diffuse channel, a grey copy of that in bump channel and a falloff map in reflection. Self illumin 100, diffuse level 100, roughness 30, super sampling enable->quality 1..
I use mental ray as render with sample min 1 max 16..
After that, my problem is: if I render a nearfield image the texture looks very good.. but if I move the camera away the image become unrecognizable..
Here you can find some example..

http://www.risorsedireason.it/privata/Wall_missoni_good_near.jpg <-- the near good tile
http://www.risorsedireason.it/privata/Wall_missoni_good_far.jpg <-- the very bad wall
Somebody has some advice?
Many thanks to all
