Hello everyone:
I want to use the "scriptJot" to catch the "hilite" command. So when the user in component mode hilite some thing, for example, hilite one polygen or one joint, my script will be run.
I have tried all the enent type, like "SelectionChanged", "ToolChanged"... but no one works:(
Dose the scriptJob can do this? or another way?
I'm a newbie, please forgive my poor English, Thanks a lot.
^o^

Unfortunately currently there is no way to catch such an event, neither with MEL nor from an API. Support people told me they've submitted a feature request for this back then, so let's hope and see.

Cheers :)

Thank you.
I have seen you smart selection tools. It's really amazing, hope autodesk to add your tools to the next generation maya, it's really very useful. ^_^
