I decided to this time go and model it fully, with details and everything. Its pretty much finished, all that I have todo now is make some sort of scene up for a big final rendering.

Impressive work, materials and rendering are very nice.
If I had any crit it would be that the lighter wood comes off a little too bright. I think the rest is perfect :thumbsup:
It looks just like my old guitar.

The strings on the head need to be straight instead of bent.... and the color of the head is weird... also, the pick board shouldn't be that... I guess the word is reflective. Make it dull... and, my last critique, and I'm not sure if it's right, but the directory switch for the pickups looks like its going too far upward on the guitar. Just my critique...

looks good, but yeah the lighter wood is too bright.

also the edge that goes around the body of the guitar looks too hard

I knew I shouldnt of gone that light with the wood, although there are strats with light woods used. My pickguard is pretty reflective, so I based it on that.

Great Modell! My only crit is that I'm not completely sure about the shape of the neck regarding it's thickness. Most ones I've seen have this curve at the base and then just gradually get thinner. This one seems to go quite linear from the base to the head plate.

very nice: love the bridge. Same guitar that Tom Delonge uses from BLINK 182. That's a pretty nice guitar and a very nice render

That is an awesome picture of a guitar. The white kinda blends in with the background. I think i t would look better like you said if you put it in a scene.

well Ive already given you plenty of crits on this over at cyanide, but Ive noticed something else, not a problem, but the pickup alignment seems strange, different to most strats Ive seen =]

Woah, neat. Hmm... Not sure what to comment about it.
Is it a mexican strat ? I have an American and the tree is all bright...

Cam, this isnt a delonge strat. I have modelled and posted one of those before though.
