Textures aint finished. The only thing i've done with them is to create dirt-maps with charcoal on paper and scanning them. there will be a paint-like surface later. If you want to se other work by me, visit my homepage: http://squapper.hypermart.net

Your ship look really good.
I expecially like the texturing. I havn't seen many ships that don't have that cheap B5 replicated plating all over it.

Photo-textures are the easiest and best way to make textures. I did'nt have a spaceship to take a picture of though....So i had to do it in another way. :)
I made the textures for this (http://user.tninet.se/~edg897a/staffan/artworks/spinner.jpg) ship in photoshop...but it was'nt very efficient. Drawing and smudging charcoal on paper takes less time and is a lot funnier. Look better too.

Man thats mad, whooo hooo we got a live one here, u should be work ing for lucas man, go on , give chang a kick inna pants. Good stuff.
looks great so far, now get to textures ;) I like the textured ship you have there too, though I'd like to see a bit more variation in detail, in the crunchy littly detail between armour plating you could have a different treatment to make it be a bit more unique, having the entire hull the exact same color looks a little monotonous, maybe some little lights poking out of that crunchy area? anyway just suggestions, looks great

I have thought about small lights in the greebles....But i don't know if it's worth the extra rendering time. Maybe i'll use them in stills.
Don't worry about the monotone color scheme. There will be at least two colors on the hull and metallic tuxtures for the gun and the engine...
If youn have any ideas or suggestions for the general color scheme, feel free to tell me. Otherwise i'll stick to a pale and red.
