I have a mesh that was imported from DAZ Studio via the COLLADA file format and it comes in just fine. I have been able to reanslate it from the default dummy node skeleton and even add twist bones with no problem. What I cannot seem to figure out is this: the mesh is just under 6’2” tall. I need to resize it to 5’8” tall. Now, with BIPED, I set the height to 5’8” and it shrunk it to the appropriate size, but during the shrink, the knees and feet joints buckled. I have tried setting the figure height in DAZ Studio and exported via COLLADA, but the moment I go to translate from the dummy skeleton to the BIPED, the entire mesh falls apart or only partially deforms, or resumes it 6’2” height. I tried scouring the MAX help and tutorial files, but was unable to find anything on this. After looking around at my usual forums, I am at a loss. Is there something I am missing? Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Hi...!

Just check if you have the COLLADA.mll file in ur destination software(MAX). Can you say the exact error message you get?
