Stuck in viewport

possibly your units,

in max go: customise / unit setup and set them to something sensible like cm or Meters and then model to scale because you can only zoom in so far before it stops.

For example its possible that you may have your units set to Meters and your making a human except your modelling him 0.1cm tall as you just randomly started modelling not to scale this wont work very well as your get all kinds of zoom problems and you wont be able to make primiitives that small either.

well basically in perspective i cant move around at all, it's just stuck there, zooming in and out doesn't do anything, it's basically just stuck there.

ill try your method when I get home, but its weird, it just happens randomly
