Plz Help, some objects will not render :(

Not so much info here so just to get some basic out of the way.
What render and what type of shader?
How does your render stats look?

there is really nothing there yet. just a lambert in a default maya scene setting.
I just finished rigging and tried rendering a posed character.
havent even started on shading and texturing yet :(

do you have Maya 8.5 and smooth proxy on your character low-high rigging?
