Break-down as to all the software you used to get from a blank canvas(3d space) to your rendered image.

Your character reminds me of of that playstation game -- gun-crazed clowns driving suped up ice cream trucks, can't think of the name... oh well.

The ears look excellent, hell the whole thing is amazing from where i'm seating.

good work.

Wings3D to model.

Nendo to add vertex color.

My own ExtremeUV to transform Vertex color to texture (outputs OBJ).

Wings3D to subdivide the OBJ file (output another 4x Obj file).

Vue to Render the OBJ with some background.

No have not seen it yet.

Sounds like a B movie. Is it a good movie for what it is ? I probably should see it since everyone mentions it.

It's bad, but it's funny... worth a watch or two...

I saw it when I was like 8, it was funny if your 8, or stoned, or stoned and 8.

Not mountains ... Space Karst.

well they look like mountains , also there is no blend between them and the ground so they look like plastic props placed on a rug.

Also you should add some footprints , how did the clown get to where he is and didnt leave a print on the sand?

Just trying to help.

But I don't own Vue ... so I'm not spending that much time tweeking out a scene in Vue. I'm thinking about buying it and when / if I do, I will attend to issues like you mention.

However, Terrain is supposed to be "fractal" in nature. Meaning that what you see at one scale, often appears very similar at a different order of magnitude. While this is not true of Mountains in the USA, it is true of other Mouintain ranges and more true or different kinds of karst. If you have never been underground, you would not know what I'm talking about. But if you have spent a good deal of your life underground (as I have)... you'd be more willing to suspend your current beliefs re: what could happen above ground on another planet. That's sand around an outcropping of Karst. In my life I've seen both strata depositing and scaloping at any numbers of scales of magnitude in rock formations.

Take a walk underground in my Cave, Chevy

Pretty cool eh.

Vue should make Caves ... then I'd buy it.
