The past 4 days I've been working on a way to animate a pinpression/pinboard/pinhead. I while back saw a Nine Inch Nails video that featured the concept but the impressions were light/value based off video footage not depth. So the effect wasn't fully realized in that manor, since the toy uses impressions. After some fiddling around I came up with this. As I fine tune the process I will post a tutorial.
