Yep - since I haven't been able to model the car of my dreams (lack of modeling skills.......ThirdEye :applause: ) - I have to practice more.. So - I started this one from scratch as usual. Slowly making it - point by point, edge by edge - and sometimes I come up with something decent - but usually I have to satisfy for a compromise between my idea and my skills. But nuff' said - here's my latest progress:

Looks great so far. Nice to see something different when is comes to 3D cars. Whats the overall method you are using to model this?

Indeed:scream:

Don't you just love the copy-paste-bridgeing the points?! IT's just sooo much fun!!

yeah just about as much fun as plucking my short hairs out with a pair of tweezers.

well its not that bad. But I wish that there was a more integrated way. so that you could just hit one bottton and viola you would have the selected points copied and pasted.

good work ! .. yeah copy/paste/bridge is a headache ! i wish c4d had something like LW where you select the points hit a button and then you can just move the new points

I love it! The mesh distribution on the roof is strange though... you may even want to lower the resolution there.

I think an extrude would work better on the hood for the opening.. thing. Once again so your mesh concentration is pretty even everywhere.

very inspirational... when I model a car, I'm gonna make an old, beat up ford pickup... with huge tires and bugs splattered all over the wind shield!
