Hey,

Im working on some sunglasses, been looking at my Oakley's as a ref..

I have the frames pretty much where I want them except for hinges and logo's.. might go crazy and start adding stuff.. But creating the lenses Im heading no where fast... First I thought maybe grabbing the inside mesh and then going from there, but it isnt working for me, nor is creating a sphere and editing it.. If anyone has an idea I would love to hear it.. Thanks for taking the time to help...

peace

this is what I have so far.

Hi
draw the shape of the lenz with a spline, extrude it, and shape it mirror it for the other side.;)

I used a plane which I shaped to fit the frames...then extrude, then meshsmooth, then render

like so... oakley.jpg (http://www.3dluvr.com/ziemdesign/images/oakley.jpg)
