hello forum,
i have massive problems with my new macbook pro under bootcamp with win xp pro!
i think the graphic card driver from bootcamp is not comaptible.
under software gl settings C4d 10.111 works well but this is a horrible workflow
for modelling!
has anyone the same problems or can me help?

thanks and regards

Tobias

Try installing the master drivers' Two things will occur.

1) it may not let you install, certain laptop providers and ATI and Nvidia have specified that Their driver packages should not install on the laptops, the installer will tell you if it cannot install.

the only serious issue about installing normal drivers as opposed to th laptop ones is the powermanagement features for the graphics card. unless your doing 3D a llot on battery power, this shouldn't be an issue

macbook pros normally let you install the normal nvidia drivers(at least if you have one with an nvidia card).

apple also juts packs the normal vvidia drivers in bootcamp(bootcamp is only a colection of xp drivers), but normally there are newer nvidia drivers on web that solves issues...
i would really try it, as kai sais, if for some reason it might be not work the installer will tell you.

cheers
stefan
