I'm just wondering if this rig is any good? It's the first time I've rigged an entire character, so I'm just wondering what people think.

not a bad rig - some nice articulated control in the feet and hands. Some of the skinning could do with tweaks and he definitely needs a neck portion when your rotate that head. It just hovers above the shirt which is a shame.

Thanks for the feedback. I can't tell you how glad it makes me to hear there's some 'nicely articulated control in the feet and hands'.

Well, you're right I think the skinning still needs work and I should put in a neck and inner mouth too.

I'll definitely keep at it. Think this rig is good enough to put on a reel as a CG generalist?

I think if you get the things sorted that we've discussed then yeah I reckon it'd be a nice rig to work with :)

ooh another thing to do might be to add a pivot offsetter to the pivot point that controls the outer foot to inner foot rotation.. currently it rotates about the foot joint whereas if you rotate your foot outward you move onto the side of your foot and the opposite for rotating foot inward. You'll need to fiddle with expressions for this :)

Thanks for the additional feedback Anthony. I'm trying to get this done so I can apply for a job, so I appreciate the soundboard.

I've added a neck now and fixed some of the skinning issues. I didn't have time to add the advanced script to the foot.

Do you think this is good enough to put on a demo reel?
