Hello, this is a living room i made with xsi, any ideas to make it more realistic would be good, tell me what you think about it.

And this is living room in the evening, there is a night one coming up.:buttrock: sorry if sometimes the pictures don't work, just right click and go to properties and follow the link there.

Hint - To increase the likelyhood that people will look at your pictures, make a page for each one instead of just linking to the image. That way, no broken links, no hassles.

Oh, and the carpet appears to be taking off in the morning pic.

You should work more with the colour balance to make it look more realistic. The aluminium stripe above the windows is textured (i think) and that makes them look painted on the picture after rendering. Make a suitable bumpmap for them and make them reflective. The tree material on the bar looks quit uniform and repetive.

This is just suggestions! I think your models look good!

your texturing reminds me of a bad CS level.. the modeling is good but the textures ruin it!

in the living room the only texture is the ground, table, carpet. this is all xsi, :buttrock: how to make it better
