I finally finished my first big project which I started after I learned how to use Maya by completing the Mastering Maya: The Fundamentals from Buzz.com. It took me about a year since I had to learn a bunch of other programs and I couldn't work on it very often.
I completed the modelling, texturing, lighting, and animation in Maya 7.0. I composited the sounds, speaking, and music in Adobe Audition (music from http://freeplaymusic.com/index.php (http://freeplaymusic.com/index.php)). Finally, I used Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 for video editing/compositing.
