Hi all.... New to posting but long time lurker. Wanted to show my latest, created in LightWave for a present for my second wedding anniversary. Rendered at 3500X1500 pixels for print it took 16 hours to render. C&C are welcome!

Wow, that's an awfully cheap anniversary present...:rolleyes:

Seriously though, very good job. Quite beautiful. I love the lighting in the scene and that must have been one hell of a print. Hopefully your wife enjoyed it as much as we all did ;)

it looks nice however the big gap in the middle is a bit dull...it seems like there should be something in there or the diamonds should be moved closer and then the image cropped.

It is also odd that the diamonds are the only object in the scene making caustic effects when there are other glass and reflective objects.

A "wife". You know. A female person you're married to for the sole purpose of doing dishes, housecleaning, and bearing children. All so the male is freed up to partake in the important things in life like CG;)
