View Full Version : Morpher, a known bug?

I'm using the morpher in max and I'm having a problem

every time I click on reload all morph targets I cant manipulate the objects I have ready for the morphs

its like this
Guy01 has the morph modifier

Guy02
Guy03 are the morph targets

I click on reload all morph targets

select Guy03, subobject, vertex, try to move something and nothing happens, select Guy04 which isnt in the morpher yet and the same thing happens. I have to restart max to be able to edit anything. Is this a known bug or is it just me?

May be just you. :)

What version of max are you running? Max 5.1 fixed some problems with modifiers graying out if the object had controllers on it.

Can you replicate it with a simple test case, like with box primitives?

Might help to narrow it down.

Or you could try exporting the meshes as OBJs, then re-importing them into a clean scene, might erase any weird info stored in the verts.
