View Full Version : For those people without BodyPaint but would like to "texture" characters
lildragon 04-24-2003, 11:29 AM Here's a tool I'll plug later today on the frontpage. It's already on the frontpage of 3dfestival.com . It's a great inexpensive tool and I find that it's much like BP right now without the 3D painting but it's still quite nice for unwrapping complex meshes.

And it's quite cheap in comparison. Good app so far

Thanks for the heads up- will give it a spin tonight. Still waiting for an update for BP though - wish the coders at Maxon can find time to work on it soon.

Hmmm... I have body paint, but I'll have to see if this is more convenient or not.
Sometimes I find that in bodypaint, the mesh overlay doesn't correspond with the actual UV map. Which is truly annoying.
Thanks for the link, Lil-D!
thanks Lil for this input. will look at it later. :applause:

Did you try "fit UV to canvas"?
