Yeah, that was a good review. That's what I like about web reviews, they can be as long as you want them to be. My frustration with magazine writing was always having to cut stuff. One of the reasons I started my old site, so I could just write whatever I wanted.

My old website (Pixel Planet) used to post reviews of that length (or longer). I've thought about reviving the site under my new domain, and start writing reviews again. I doubt I'd post any of the old ones, at least the CG software ones...they're really outdated at this point (Max 3 review? Nah, probably not too useful...)

Anyone know how cooperative Maxon is about sending out review copies? I remember talking to them at various trade shows over the years, seemed like a cool group of people.
