View Full Version : Is there any math node in maya?
johnchuang 01062008, 03:34 AM Hi, guys, I do some expression job these days , and wonder if there any math node like sin cos etc. in maya? Expresssion is easy to use , but sometimes slow. Any math node there inside the box? I can't find it in help doc.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Check out the dev docs > nodes.
Multiply/divide is one of example.
Coupla years back there was an interesting discussion on the highend mailing list about expressions VS nodes. You can still find it in the archives.

I wrote a series of Math nodes for Maya as plugin including Angular Conversion, Curve functions, Exponential Functions, Limit Functions, Trigonometric, etc.
