View Full Version : The Multi/Complete Tool

... no i'm not talking about myself.

i remember there being a 3-in-1 tool (scale, translate and rotate) in maya that's similar to the Manipulator tool. the only difference is that this "Multi-Tool" could be used on any object. i've been searching around but i haven't been able to find any reference to it in the manual or in maya itself.

the "multi-tool" exists doesn't it?

't' is for the Manipulator Tool when it's applicable.

luckly i was able to find the Multi-tool, it's actually called the Move/Rotate/Scale Tool and it can be found by going to Modify > Transformation Tools > Move/Rotate/Scale Tool.

Hey thanks mental, that tool can come in handy , i never noticed it. Doyou know about the click drag select tool? If not you go to winows>pref>pref \settings>selection>click drag tool.

Its like the tweak tool in wings 3d, except it dont have a magnetic range. There is a script for that range i have it if you want. Im on maya 5 and the script isnt working in maya 5. But if you want just like send privatemessage orwhatever. its a ool you can get on highend 3d i think. I just dont know were to find it on there. Thats why i said i would sends to you.
