Hey guys,
so I've been trying to sink my teeth into MOI3d as of late
and decided to try and build my electric razor.
Here is a quick render

Model seems to have some pretty smooth edges. Good work.

How long did it take to learn Moi, and how long did it take to model. Last but not least was this a quick render in EI? How easy does Moi interface with EI?

Hey Gigayoda, thanks.
I have had MOI3d on my harddrive for a little over 1 year. But I never had the chance to
really sit down and give it its due time.
If you are familiar with how EIM worked, then the concepts are pretty easy in MOI3d.

A lot of shapes are made with the booleans and the rounding tools are very reliable.
Exporting obj, with weld vertices along edges turned off, importing to transporter and saving as fact format is pretty much all you need to do.

The reason why I post here is because I render the files in ElectricImage:)

Hey guys,
I was able to do some work on the electric razor.
I'm just about finished and will start to mess around with the renderings when I get some
more time to do so.
I had to seperate the heads from the body as it was really starting to bog down
the Moi3d software.
I just re assemble it inside EI

Hey guys,
I started getting to some rendering of the electric razor.
Ive been playing with the surface of the razor and will
start making the few texture maps it has when I get a chance.
