Hi Guys
This is a revision on a render i submitted a while ago. I tried to create the ultimate mood shot render of this Aston Martin Vantage, pushing for extra details...

the model looks really great. nice smooth edges.
also i would suggest to light up the scene a bit more.
could you tell something about how you set up the scene? I aalso started working on a car model, but stopped it some weeks ago, mainly because i didn't know how to decently present it :)
Great work!

I like your style and the modeling, lighting is good. One critic though, the camera angle makes the car look as if it was going down hill, perhaps you should try rendering with other camera angles. Good work!

u have captured the mood well enough. but y do the windmills in the bg have motion blur on them? or is it DoF? whatever it is, present the scene without that. it'll shine ;)

I like the model, but I'm not sure about the presentation. Not sure about why there should be motion blur on the background since the car is static. The pretty sharp rupture between the ground texture and the background matte is disturbing. Most of the car is in the dark because of the lighting. And as Kosmos suggested, you should tilt your camera in the opposite direction.

thanx for the input guys! i appreciate it...
I must admit i posted the wrong image here, i have a version that's a lot lighter after post production and tweaking the levels in photoshop. Here's the lighter one...

I agree on the backgroud critique and camera angle though, i'll make a plan...
i'm also wrighting a short "How To" tutorial on this project for 3D total that'll be in February's 3D Creative magazine...
