View Full Version : Tree Sprite rotation?

Hi

I have created a fairly huge forest of trees over a mountain range. I have used surface emitted sprites with mapped tree images. Problem is... sprites always face the camera with rotation on all axis. How can I limit the rotation to just the y axis so the trees stay planted?

To my knowledge, you cant (at least not without coding your own sprites).

You would be better of using instanced planes.
