hi all,

I have an .avi file, and a .tga image sequence for an alpha channel. I want to apply the image sequence over the .avi video to make a specific region transperant. Ive been searching and trying various tutorials, can anyone help me out on this one?

well, switched to a .mov file with built in alpha channel, works like a charm.

Use the alpha sequence as a track matte on top of the RGB footage....

In addition to the above, also make sure your .tga sequence has the alpha embedded in the image.
