Greetings and salutations

I have a question for you masters of the pixel arts. How do you organise and store your cables?

I am not talking about the cables allready in use on my machine but about the unbelivable amount of usb, firewire, iPod, phone, different cameras, power cables and such which I have accumulated over the years.

I'm specificly looking for some solutions for easy access to them as I use a lot of them on a daily basis. But when I'm done with them I would like to find some solution of how to store them. In some other way than all in a box which you would then have to dig through to find the right one.

Best wishes from Iceland

I keep mine all connected to an external multi-port USB hub and the cables remain attached. I have sticky labels on each cable so their easily identifiable (sp.?) as to which peripheral each cable belongs to. I bought the labels at a home theater store. The hub w/ cables are stored in a desk drawer when not needed. I even have some software dongles attached as well.

Cable.... management?

Whats that?

I tend to have USB cables dangling off my monitor's usb hub... Speaking of which, I need another usb hub :/ 2 extra ports isn't enough these days...
