Hi everyone this is my first post here.
Here's a quick image I made for exercise sake.

Hope you like it. :)

It looks like its made of plastic, maybe work on the lighting some and make the spec highlights a little harder and not so diffused. Might help if the leaf was slightly translucent also

Here's an updated version. Based on Coles kind suggestions. So what do you think now?

I like the apple alot, looks very phot-realistic. However the vein on the leaf seems a bit wide to me and perhaps you could throw a little curve into that leaf.

I really like it though.

The leaf overall looks very nice, but needs some work to make it photorealistic. Make it a bit more translucent, little less plasticy. As for the apple itself, I would seriously mistake that for a real one if the leaf was just a little better. Great work!

it would be nice if the leaf was larger and was wilting over the apple and dying...get a bit more shine into the apple and the contrast of the fresh ripe apple and the dying leaf would be quite a lovely composition i think

looks really nice. try to composite it into a photograph and see how that looks.

sorry but....to me it doesnt look at all realistic - there is something funny about the top of the apple - it looks like its assembled from cut-out photos pieced together - especially along the top edge

thats what i see - maybe others see something else
