View Full Version : First Demo Reel : Please Crit!
PyrOmonkey 04-23-2003, 04:40 PM Hey, Ive just finished my first demo reel (well, a demo reel can never really be finished, can it  ). Ive only been doing 3d for about a year and a half, and only seriously for about 6 months. I would really appreciate some crits on my reel, and some ideas on what would make it better. The reel focuses on modeling, but there is a little animation, not great animation, but im working on it. Im currently looking for a job in Toronto.
Anyways, without further ado

right-click, save as, and you need the latest DivX codec
Thanks

Thanks houmanm, I thought about taking out the animations of that klay fellow, but I figured they may want to know if I can set up charecter rigs, so I may get rid of one of the sequences, I dunno yet. I didnt go to any school, this is just a hobby. Currently im taking computer science at Ryerson University, but I may apply to the International Academy of Design for their CG degree at some point. (when I can afford it :hmm: ).
Anymore crits?

I agree with Houmann. Great modeling, and the animation brings your reel down. If you want to show that your character is rigged, just have him move into poses.
