I have my Hypershade, Hypergraph, and some other things on a custom shelf. This works the fastest for me. Just hold Alt+Ctrl+Shift while you select anything and a shortcut will be placed in the current shelf.

you can make them yourself, its really easy.

Go to Window - Settings/Prefs - Hotkeys

then in this window just find your menu on the left, and then the command on the menu on the right. Then in the red box I've drawn is where you can choose your shortcut key. You can enter a hotkey and hit "query" first to see if its already assigned to a different shortcut.

while holding Ctrl+Alt+Shift, go to Window > Click on Hypergraph: this will create an icon shortcut on the shelf that is active at that time.

you can repeat this process for any window and most commands that you find in the menus. to keep things tidy create new shelves to hold your shortcuts.

Ok yes this is reviving from the dead, but this trick saved me tons of time digging out graph editor. Thank you amb and mental! And thank you cgtalk for holding archieves this deep!
