Can someone tell me what these 3 poly plugin does:

pointOnMeshInfo
closestPointOnMesh
closestPointOnCurve

It gives me a node with 3 attribute which dosen't seam to do a thing.

It does alot. It allows you sample points info from a mesh, curve or surface and use that information. For example using the closestPoint nodes you can set up networks that allow objects to bleed color onto eachother, or animation.

Those nodes are pretty abstract and advanced. Best way to find out what they do is experimentation.
