Hullo everybody :p

I found a killer deal for a macpro thanks to some guy, and I am seriously thinking on buying it but there's a problem. Well, not a problem but rather lots of questions.
The macpro ships with a geforce 7300 something videocard (gotta love mac's choice for high-end computers), and that may suit macos users needs but I plan to use dual booting on that machine.
I am using Maya and I've read that Maya's performance on the mac is extremely poor, so I am going to go for the dual-boot way (I am thinking on using Windows, although I may consider linux as well). The thing is that I'd like to use a quadro fx 1700 or something like that for Maya (for obvious reasons), so I'd buy a separate quadro card for that machine.
The problem is that I don't know if I could completely ditch the geforce since "that's the one that macos will be using" and I don't know if it will like the quadro card.
Soooo my question is: will I be able to keep both cards on my system, considering that they are completely different models? I won't be using SLI or anything like that. All I need is to keep them both inside instead of having to switch them all the time depending on the OS I am running.

thanks ;)
