I want to get a new screen for my PC.. But i also what it to be for TV and used for my Xbox360.

I want to get a graphics card that wont distorte my picture to much.. as little as possible.

I mainly use 3Dsmax and Photoshop -- but also use it for online gaming.

The screen has VGA and is 3000:1

this is what the setup on the PC will look like

MSI P35 NEO2-FIR, P35, Socket-775, DDR2,
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz
XFX GeForce 8800GTS 500M 320MB GDDR3,
Hitachi Deskstar T7K500 500GB SATA2
Creative SB Audigy SE

the main thing is the graphics card... (i think)

Should i drop down to a 26" screen ?

There is no difference between the resolution of most 26" and 32" HDTV screens screens.

If you want a HDTV that will do double duty as both a TV and a PC display, take a serious look at a 32" or 37" 1080p display (1920x1080 pixels). Anything larger won't fit on a desk, and anything with the lower 720p pixel density (1366x768 pixels) won't be optimal for serious work in MAX, CS3, et al.

I currently use a 23" 1920x1200 display and a 32" 1366x768 HDTV display. The 32" display is great for movies, gaming, pixel painting (cell phone game graphics) and general use, saving my poor tired eyes. But it has become a bit low rez for default CS3 toolbars. I can use it, but things get crowded fast. The 23" has too high a pixel density for me at native rez, and long work sessions leave me bleary-eyed.

I'm driving both these displays with a 7600GT and I can play HL2 and many other games at 1366x768 with no problems. But a 8800GTS is definitely the move for 1080p gaming -- especially Crysis... The specs you listed, paired with a 32" 1080p set should be just fine.
