Hello everybody! this is my first post here, since I've earlier beebeen too intimidated of the level of professionalism of the pictures posted. But now I have finally gathered enough courage to post this picture here.
The picture, is a portrait painted after a photo of one of my best friends, Amanda, who is a photomodel. At the moment I can't really make any progress, since I've painted it with my brothers wacom, which he has reclaimed after a few months.
I would highly appreciate tips and constructive critisism!

The link will also allow you to see the reference and an older WIP!

Nice, VERY nice!

You can still paint with a mouse, you just have to make your picture a LOT larger, and you have to work a bit slower to get your lines as clean and even. You then shrink it back to reasonable size when you're done. If your PC can't deal with the strain, you sometimes have to work on one section at a time giant size, and then reassemble the completed pieces.

This is really nice work. Glad you got past your intimidation!

yeah, I guess I can, but it feels so strange to go from a mouse to a wacom, just to go back to a mouse.. nice tip about the size changing!
