Title: Brom's Goat Head
Name: Julio Cesar Espada
Country: España
Software: 3ds max, BodyPaint, mental ray, Photoshop, ZBrush

Hello everybody.

I started this image some weeks ago. It started as something to spend the free time, but then I decided I wanted to finish it before the end of the year. I have been playing too much Guitar Hero, and this has served as some kind of punishment for being so lazy :)

I'd like to tell that this image has been made just for fun and because of my admiration for Brom. I do not have any intention to walk on the thin line of copyrights or whatever.
If you want to see Brom's image, just google "Brom goat head" and you got it.

I hope you like it!

PD: Check out my website to see some images of the work in progress.

The detail of the character is amazing! And the pose is really cool!
Like the effect of the light!
But if the tatoo of the armor would be more complicated, that would be better!

Absolutely stunning!
I wouldn't have the patience to do this "just for fun". I'd charge at least 2000 bucks for it :D

I saw the other image. It was like watching those movies where they show you the same story from different points of views! hahahaha. I understand the idea of copying an image you like just to practice... but I do it on drawing and under an hour not a complete rendering!!! Que locura, hombre!!! However, that is was masters do: practice.

Great, great job.

Great, great job.

Thanks for your kind words :) (and everyone too!)

The goal never was to copy the image 1:1. I love Brom's art and I feel a big respect for how he can put dreams on drawings, but also, i need to work on what pleases my mind.
Pretending to copy Brom is something i never want to face, not because I (or anyone else) could not do it with gazillions of hard working hours, but more because Brom is Brom :)

I do not know how to explain better :)

Merry Xmas!
