Title: Warm Interior
Name: Enrico Cerica
Country: Belgium
Software: Blender

Using Blender and Indigo I made this project mainly centered on light (using exit portals) and UV Texturing. I also used the camera settings for the tonemapping, just like if I shot the scene with a cam, very useful and quite easy to setup.

Modelled with blender
Rendered with Indigo 1.0.4
Render time : 11h on a core 2 duo 2.66
Some postpro for noise reduction

Pretty good, just some minor thing I would like to point out, the chair to the bottom right has light hitting the back leg but the seat has very little light hitting it. Overall, good work

pretty good. You're definitely a master of materials!

I still find this warmer, though... ;)

I don't quite think there's any trouble there: the leg is hit by light coming from behind (sun?) and the seat is occluded by both shadows from the back of the seat and from the table (in the case of the main light).

besides, in a non-biased renderer, any light problems are software bugs, not responsability of the artist...
