View Full Version : saving paths??
shenmue 12-30-2007, 04:34 PM Hi
I am trying to save the paths and I dont know how. They can be saved as shapes using define custome shape, but it is not what I want.I want to draw the paths in a specific position, and be able to save and load those paths in that same position. Is this posible?
Thanks

I'm not sure I understand your question correctly, but it seems that you just want to use the path palette to create a new path and then load it back? Maybe you could develop your question a bit further?

Ok.IŽll try to explain my self better.
I am doing the texture of spiderman. And the black web texture is made using paths:I draw the path and then use stroke path. The problem is that I need to edit a lot this web texture in order to fit it ok.So If I stroke the path and I want to edit,I should deleting, and repainting all the time.
I though that it would better to do the whole web with paths, and then stroke all at the same time.If something doesnŽt fit,IŽll just go back and replace the anchor point, and stroke again.

oohh!!!okey thanks,I just understood what you said about the path palette.I thought that when I saved the .psd the paths were deleted,so no need to save and load paths then.
It is ok now,thanks
