CGTalk - Batch applying effects?

supposing i have applied some tweaks to an image ,,is there any way or a plugin to automatically apply the same effect to hundreds of images without opening each one of them?

use actions?
record effect and save as action, then batch apply to images. alternatively create a droplet..

Yeah just record an action of the filter or effect or whatever it is you're using, then apply it to the folder of images using the Automate function.
