CGTalk - Great tool in maya

Window>Settings/Preference>Preferences>Selection

Then turn on click drag select. Modeling is so much faster now. I was in wings 3d and found the Tweak. This does i belive the same thing. Really great tool i never knew about.

that has nothing to do with the TweakTool, I think so.
Because the Tool in Maya has no fall off.

What exactely is selecting the "click drag select" option do?

you don't have to first select the (for example vertex),
and drag it then. So try only the drag, and it select automaticly.
You can aslo difine a region for the drag area when the tool
have to react.
