I was hoping to get some comments about a piece I started working on lately. There's something off about it, and I'd love if some fresh eyes looked at this and could tell me what it is.

I'll try to continue it when my mousing hand can hold my wacom pen again :).

ehm... I can see some points which are "off"

our left side of her face looks due to lighting far more extremely shaped then the other side, the cheekbone there is almost absent compared to the very harsh light and shadows on our left side.
Her belly button doesn't sit in the middle.
Her mouth could be a little wider and looks a little crooked, but that can also be the result of the cheekbone mismatch.
Her clavicles also don't really look directly in the center as well.
And finally I do believe the elbow of the far arm sits to high, or the arm is slightly to short.

I suggest to, on a separate layer, draw a line through the shouders and hips (and the waist to pinpoint the elbows), as well as through the nose and then connect this "perspective grid" with the vertical middle of the character... that will make it easier to compare left and right and lets you set the above mentioned part dead on in the center.

Cheers!

It looks to me like her neck is too large and too long. Way too long (http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=6245646). Necks are generally about 2/3 a head length, and attach to the head at about nose level, or at the bottom of the ear.Additionally, she has no shoulder joints, and is suffering from severe scoliosis, with her right hip so much higher than her left, I am amazed that she is able to stand as straight as she does.
Her right forearm (LH side) is longer than her left. So is the glove. That elbow looks painful.
Additionally, her left breast is smaller than her right, by at least one cup size, pushing 2, from a 'C' on her right to an 'A' on her left.

Really b*tchin' outfit, but really bad anatomy. Basics.
CONSISTENCY, and to some extent, proper proportions. But more focus on consistency.

If you want to draw giraffe necked, short-legged chicks with flat cheekbones, kewlness. Just paint both sides consistently. Then it's your "style," no matter how unconventional. But, when you draw all over the place like this, it just looks unskilled, and your message gets lost.

You should tighten this up, and finish out the top and gloves. With the right coloring, they would make this image pop.

If you're going to keep the long neck (http://www1.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/2338290/2/istockphoto_2338290_long_neck_dummy_beauty.jpg), making your exaggerated proportions more consistent will help direct the attention back to the clothes.

After taking a break from this and coming back to it, I'd pretty much have to agree with what you guys said. Anyway, I tried making a few edits to it.

Much improved, although the elbow is still a bit too bony, and the left breast needs a bit more curvature shadow beneath the cup, but overall much more visually convincing.
